A trickle of smelt remain in the Cowlitz now, but the dipping should
get better with the new dipping time limits. Steelhead are still the
ticket in the upper Cowlitz (from Blue Creek to Barrier Dam)
and I've heard of a few Springers being caught, but nothing extremely hot yet.
The Fish-Meter should definitely be on the rise here in the upcoming
weeks--Keep a close eye on things if you want to be in the middle of it.
